It's been raining on and off since last night. Jeff made pasta for lunch this morning, but we figured we should get out and stretch our feet so we finally tried out this frozen yogurt place nearby his school called Woo Berry. I ordered the large size for us to share but didn't realize how much 12 oz. was! Whoops...and all Jeff took was one bite! I managed to finish most of it though, even though I prefer other froyo shops. When the rain stopped for a little, there were these pretty double rainbows in the sky so I managed to snap a photo of them. And then the whole campus lost power and we were without electricity for about an hour. I'm glad that it wasn't another week-long blackout like it had been when Hurricane Irene hit the east coast.

more missoni.
Here's the rest of the things I ordered from the collaboration of Missoni for Target! I was ecstatic to see that the packages had arrived earlier than Target predicted - end of October? I don't think so. As you can see, I didn't get any of the clothes from the collection. But I snagged up the espresso set, martini shaker, train case, and the coveted throw in addition to the things I posted in this previous entry. Seriously, if you check eBay though, this throw is going for $100+ when it was originally $40! I'm so happy with all my purchases, and I owe a lot of credit to my wonderful boyfriend <3

indian summer.
Just when I thought fall weather was here, the sun decides to come back and remind me how much I miss summer. But today I went shopping and bought a scarf, ironically!

sunday hot pot.
After browsing another street fair and doing a bit of shopping, Jeff and I went to eat hot pot at Shabu-Zen! My photos could use some editing but I'm too lazy to learn how to use Photoshop - what a waste of a program!

groceries.
Jeff and I need to grocery shop. Actually it's not that we don't go grocery shopping, it's just that we're too lazy to cook! We eat out practically every day, which is a big waste of money. Someone send me recommendations on what to cook to motivate me?
adena.
It has come to the point that I can no longer wear open-toed shoes outdoor. I must now go and gather my closed-toe shoes from my closet. I would like to make several additions to this collection, and at the top of that wishlist would be a nice pair of loafers. The pair I lust for? The Adena by Sam Edelman. I tried them on today and they are oh so comfortable. Not to mention they look pretty fierce with the spikes and studs!
mm, steak.
Thursdays are a little bittersweet because although it signifies the beginning of the weekend, the weekend means I have to work. After sleeping in a bit today, Jeff and I went to the mall to browse and kill a time before going to see The Lion King in 3-D. I didn't buy anything though except for some frozen yogurt from Red Mango. We saw the movie, and I was glad it was pretty empty because kids in movie theaters can be annoying. Although there was a little Asian kid who started crying when Mufasa died that was so adorable! We went to eat dinner at Texas Roadhouse and got our usual onion blossom and 20 oz. rib-eyes, with delicious bread and sides, of course! I would share the photos I personally took but we were sitting next to some pretty ugly fluorescent light so they didn't come out so well.

i wish it was still summer.
It's been a while since I've had a personal post, as you can see in my old blog. Today I just thought I'd share some of my recent purchases with you all.
1. Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Coral Reef and L'Oreal Paris Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting Base. A very pretty opaque gloss and a velvety smooth primer.
2. Missoni for Target bikini. First of my online Missoni purchases to come in! Although I've always wanted a Missoni bikini, I don't quite like the way this one fits so I'm going to sell it.
3. Missoni for Target mug, plate, and prep bowls. Got these home goods at the Target store; aren't they lovely?
4. Pillow Pet Peewee. His name is Winston.
diamond in the rough.
If I could pick my own engagement/wedding ring and money was no object, it would be this gorgeous cushion-cut micropave ring by none other than Harry Winston. A girl can dream, right?
